Irina Heaver is Partner and Head of Commercial at Fichte & Co. Irina is an Australian qualified lawyer and holds Juris Doctor and Master of Laws degrees from Monash University. She regularly advises telehealth, e-commerce, RegTech and FinTech companies, of various sizes starting from the concept stage and those that are already established market leaders across MENA Region.
Irina is Partner and Head of Commercial & Technology at Fichte & Co. With over 15 years of experience, she specialises in the broad spectrum of commercial and corporate work including M&A, disposals, corporate restructurings and governance issues, as well as complex joint ventures and strategic alliances.
Having spent over 12 years in-house in senior legal roles with multinationals in oil & gas, construction and maritime industries, Irina has developed a thorough expertise in the heavy industrial sector, such as energy, oil & gas, EPC and engineering, capital projects and infrastructure enterprises.
Currently, Irina is heavily focused on the emerging technology being introduced or developed alongside the traditional business models. She regularly advises in relation to all aspects of emerging businesses, including regulatory framework, intellectual property rights, funding matters, as well as general matters relating to contractual arrangements such as software and technology licensing, consultancy, and contracts in relation to supply and maintenance of hardware and equipment.
Irina regularly represents emerging technology business such as Blockchain and AI enterprises, RegTech and FinTech startups, IT infrastructure and cloud services, software and tech development companies, e-commerce and online marketplaces, of various sizes starting from the concept stage and those that are already established market leaders across MENA Region.
