Anna is a Senior Associate in the Shipping Department (contentious) and works with Fichte & Co since June 2020.

Anna’s educational background includes LL.B. and LL.M. degrees from French University in Armenia and Jean Moulin Lyon 3 university in France.

Before joining Fichte & Co, Anna worked as an in-house lawyer and international department specialist in one of the Armenian biggest retail companies, advising on corporate, customs and tax matters and then joined Top Tier Financial and Corporate law firm in Armenia as an Associate. Anna had experience in providing legal advice to Armenian and international financial institutions, banks, start-ups, as well as investment companies and funds. Moreover, she assisted the Managing partner of the law firm in handling legislative reforms with the Central bank of Armenia.

Anna’s role contains assisting the Shipping department in investigation of cases, preparation of relevant legal documents, execution of statistical and documentary research related to the  multifaceted shipping, trade, commercial and business disputes not only before the Federal courts of UAE, but also in international arbitration and alternative dispute resolution forums.

Anna is the Ambassador of “Insurance Foundation for Servicemen” Armenian in UAE, Board member of “We are Armenians” foundation. It is almost third year Anna is being selected to judge the international round of Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition in Washington D.C. together with eminent representatives of International Court of Justice.

 
Personal Experience

Annais a Senior Associate at the Firm’s shipping and dispute resolution department. Anna’s role consists in assisting the Shipping department in investigation of cases, preparation of relevant legal documents, execution of statistical and documentary research related to the multifaceted shipping, trade, commercial and business disputes not only before the Federal courts of UAE, but also in international arbitration and alternative dispute resolution forums.
